My fiancé and I knew we wanted to get married in the islands but cringed at the thought of having a cookie cutter resort wedding. Pam Arthurton helped us plan a casual, elegant affair that our family and friends still talk about to this day. From the pink orchids in the bouquet, to the traditional West Indian wedding cake, to the excellent quality of our photographs and video, our beachside wedding was absolutely flawless. The reception that followed was under a starlit Caribbean night sky in a tropical garden with a steel band playing softly in the background. It really doesn't get better than that! Pam listened to our ideas and ran with them, taking them to an even higher level of beauty and sophistication. Our wedding was stress free and gorgeous! What else can you ask for? Laura and Jason Lee Our guests, who contacted Carib-World Travel directly via email and/or telephone, received courteous and reliable service, along with very reasonable airfares and car rental rates. Carib-World Travel also obtained fantastic rates for all our overseas guests to stay in villas at the Jolly Harbour Beach Resort. Our villa was complimentary. The resort was perfect!!! There were lots of activities for both children and adults, including a miniature golf course, a casino, and beautiful beaches, all within walking distance. Since everyone stayed in the same area, our guests were able to meet and mingle, and it was easy to coordinate everyone for the many activities that took place before and after the wedding. Some of the activities we enjoyed include: a catamaran cruise to a nearby island; an island tour; a rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding (which included all our guests); and a beach picnic the day after the wedding. These events either left from or were held at Jolly Harbour, making it extremely convenient for everyone in our wedding party. Although our reception was held at a private residence, the catering and bar services were recommended by Carib-World Travel. The staff also recommended a wedding photographer, who turned out to be very easy to work with and took the most beautiful photos I have seen yet. Everything was lovely, and the food was fantastic. Some of our guests described our wedding as a fairy tale wedding. Our wedding week turned out to be everything we wanted, and more than our guests expected. Many thanked us for the best vacation they ever had - tons of fun, zero hassles. So if you're thinking of a vacation or wedding in Antigua and need reliable service and courteous, creative, flexible people to work with, I highly recommend Carib-World Travel. Its hard enough planning a wedding in your own town, but to plan one across the seas is truly an accomplishment that we couldn't have done without you! When we first decided to have our wedding in Antigua, we thought nobody would make it because it was too far and too expensive, but the packages you put together for us with the Jolly Beach Resort were awesome. We were able to have 85 of our family members and friends join us in our celebration. Thank you so much for all your hard work, you went clear above the call of a travel agents duty. Your help with coordinating our photographer, videographer, flowers and even down to picking up the rum for our wedding favors was clearly beyond the expectations that we had and for that we are extremely grateful.
