Board a bus for your chance to learn everything there is to know about Antigua’s well-known rums. We will start with a visit to the remains of one of the larger slave operated sugarcane plantations and end with a visit to a local home from where we will do a rum tasting with finger foods.
En route there will be opportunities for site seeing that will highlight residential areas that were once fully cultivated in sugar cane. Your tour will feature 2 aspects of history that are distinct to sugar cane in the West Indies – the windmill towers, as well as the large cast iron vats.
